NIKKI MASSOUD is an actor, audiobook narrator, and writer based in New York City. She is a first generation Iranian-American immigrant, raised in Montreal, Canada and Washington, DC. Nikki speaks fluent Farsi and conversational French. Her writing teachers have included Heather Raffo, Deb Salem Smith, and Jose Rivera. She is an Atlantic Launch Commission writer and her work has been developed through The Lark, The Coop and a City Artist Corps Grant. Her television work as a performer includes Guest Starring roles on Love Life (HBO), Emergence (ABC), and Madam Secretary (CBS). Her stage credits include Sanaz Toossi's WISH YOU WERE HERE at Playwrights Horizons and OTHELLO at New York Theatre Workshop, directed by Sam Gold, alongside Daniel Craig and David Oyelowo. Nikki has performed regionally at The Old Globe, Berkeley Rep, Huntington Theatre Company, Portland Center Stage, and Two River Theater. Nikki is also the Audie Award-winning narrator of over 35 audiobooks, currently available on Audible. She is a graduate of the Brown University/Trinity Rep MFA Program, Georgetown University and BADA.
